우리는 누구인가. Aobo Steel began in 2003 as a tool steel forging and processing operation in Huangshi, China, and has supplied overseas buyers since 2017. We work sourcing, quality control, and export through the mill and processing network built over the past two decades, and we currently supply buyers in the Czech Republic, Brazil, the Philippines, India, and other markets.
Grades, Forms, and Delivery Condition
Our scope covers cold work, hot work, shock resisting, plastic mold, bearing, and high speed tool steels, supplied as raw material for machining, stocking, resale, and later heat treatment. The full grade list with equivalents and page links is in the tool steel catalog, and the material finder narrows it down by application. Ring blanks are forged to shape with a pierced bore and discs are forged solid, so the grain flow stays continuous through heavy sections.

We plan rust prevention, edge protection, labeling, and container loading so the material arrives clean and easy to classify. Anti-rust oil as standard, VCI packaging on request, strong strapping, and a 20GP load of up to around 26 tons depending on size.

Questions Buyers Ask Before the First Order
What is the minimum order quantity?
Around 5 tons for export. That suits a trial order or a distributor replenishment batch, and several grades or sizes can share one shipment when the total quantity and loading plan work.
Which certificate do I get with the material?
A mill certificate to EN 10204 3.1 covering chemical composition and heat number, plus our supply and inspection verification sheet for the shipment. UT to an agreed level and third party re-checks are available on request.
Can you supply material to my standard instead of AISI?
Yes. We work in AISI, DIN, JIS, and GB, so an order placed as 1.2379, SKD11, or Cr12MoV is matched to the same material and confirmed on the certificate.
What lead time should I plan for?
Forged tool steel is usually around 30 days, and hot rolled or ESR material usually 45 to 60 days, both depending on grade and size. Large sections, special grades, and UT testing are confirmed case by case before we commit to a date.
Do you supply annealed material only?
Material ships annealed or in an agreed condition, ready for cutting, milling, grinding, and final heat treatment on your side. Hardness range is confirmed against the later heat treatment you plan.
How is the material packed for a sea shipment?
Anti-rust oil as standard and VCI packaging on request, with edge protection, strapping, and labels that separate grades, sizes, and surface conditions. Loading photos are taken before the container is sealed.
Can you supply forged rings and discs instead of bar?
Yes. Ring blanks are forged with a pierced bore and discs are forged solid to shape, which keeps the grain flow continuous for bearing races, gear blanks, die blocks, and large diameter tooling.
