Size Range, Lead Time, and Bulk Loading Capacity
This page answers the questions serious buyers ask before placing a bulk order: what sizes we can supply, what tolerances to expect, the minimum order, how much loads into a container, and how long it takes. For grades and supply forms, see our supply overview; for inspection, see our quality control page.
What We Can Supply, and to What Tolerance
Feasibility depends on grade, section, surface, tolerance, and quantity. Through local production and our sourcing network, we cover a wide size range across bars, plates, and forged blocks.
| Supply Item | Typical Capability | Tolerance / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Round Bar | Approx. 8–800 mm diameter | Turned / peeled generally 0 / +1 mm |
| Flat Bar / Plate | Common bulk sizes by thickness, width, length | Milled thickness generally 0 / +1 mm |
| Forged Block / Ring / Disc | Larger sections and special sizes, forged to shape | Confirmed per order and inspection requirement |
| Black Surface Material | Bars and plates in black surface | Machining allowance such as 0 / +5 mm |
| Length | Usually about 2–5.5 m for export loading | Matches 20GP container length |
How Bulk Orders Are Planned and Loaded
We support MOQ-based bulk supply and container-level loading. Several grades or sizes can share one shipment when the total quantity, length, and loading plan are workable.
| Planning Item | Capability | Practical Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| MOQ | Around 5 tons | Suited to trial orders, distributor replenishment, and project batches |
| 20GP Container | Up to around 26 tons depending on size | Improves freight efficiency for bulk orders |
| Mixed Grades / Sizes | Checked against total quantity and loading feasibility | Lets distributors combine multiple stock items in one shipment |
| Packing & Labeling | Export packing, labels, documents, shipment photos | Smoother receiving, classification, and resale after arrival |
How Long an Order Takes
Lead time depends on grade, size, quantity, production route, surface condition, and inspection requirement. We confirm these before committing to a schedule.
General lead time reference
- Forged tool steel — usually around 30 days, by grade and size
- Hot rolled and ESR material — usually around 45–60 days
- Large sections, special grades, or UT — may need extra planning
- Export packing and loading are included in the final schedule
What we need for a feasibility check
- Steel grade or equivalent grade
- Size, quantity, and surface condition
- Required tolerance and inspection standard
- Destination port and expected shipment date
From Inquiry to Repeat Shipment
Stable repeat supply depends on clear specs, consistent sourcing, and document control. We support every step from inquiry to shipment release.
