Esses tr\u00eas processos remodelam a estrutura interna do a\u00e7o, e essa estrutura, n\u00e3o o n\u00famero na ficha t\u00e9cnica, \u00e9 o que determina se um molde ou matriz realmente suporta a carga. A contamina\u00e7\u00e3o por oxig\u00eanio durante a soldagem forma inclus\u00f5es de \u00f3xido, que se comportam como pequenos vazios dentro do metal e reduzem a resist\u00eancia, a tenacidade e a ductilidade. A lamina\u00e7\u00e3o e o trefilamento tamb\u00e9m produzem textura, um alinhamento de gr\u00e3os em uma dire\u00e7\u00e3o preferencial que torna o a\u00e7o anisotr\u00f3pico e aumenta moderadamente a resist\u00eancia ao longo da dire\u00e7\u00e3o de processamento em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 dire\u00e7\u00e3o transversal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Algumas classes de a\u00e7o inoxid\u00e1vel austen\u00edtico adicionam um mecanismo extra a isso: plasticidade induzida por transforma\u00e7\u00e3o, ou TRIP. Quando realizado corretamente, promove as fases de refor\u00e7o que uma determinada classe de a\u00e7o deve formar. Quando realizado incorretamente, pode precipitar fases prejudiciais, como carbonetos, nitretos ou fase sigma, que danificam as propriedades mec\u00e2nicas, a resist\u00eancia ao impacto e a resist\u00eancia \u00e0 corros\u00e3o simultaneamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O outro lado do tratamento t\u00e9rmico \u00e9 o controle de tens\u00f5es.
