Nas normas chinesas, corresponde ao 20CrNiMo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O a\u00e7o 8620 n\u00e3o \u00e9 um a\u00e7o ferramenta. \u00c9 um a\u00e7o de engenharia para cementa\u00e7\u00e3o. Seu teor de carbono \u00e9 de apenas cerca de 0,20%, portanto, n\u00e3o pode ser temperado completamente at\u00e9 atingir a dureza de um a\u00e7o ferramenta. Mesmo totalmente temperado, a martensita com esse n\u00edvel de carbono atinge apenas cerca de 40-45 HRC. O cromo e o molibd\u00eanio proporcionam a temperabilidade necess\u00e1ria para que a camada cementada atinja a dureza superficial m\u00e1xima ap\u00f3s t\u00eampera em \u00f3leo, e o molibd\u00eanio tamb\u00e9m reduz o risco de fragiliza\u00e7\u00e3o por revenido. A pe\u00e7a acabada possui duas zonas distintas: uma camada externa dura para resist\u00eancia ao desgaste e um n\u00facleo macio e resistente para suportar impactos e cargas de flex\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ap\u00f3s um ciclo completo de cementa\u00e7\u00e3o e revenido, o n\u00facleo apresenta uma dureza de 30\u201342 HRC com boa tenacidade e ductilidade. A superf\u00edcie cementada atinge 58\u201363 HRC, com uma profundidade de camada t\u00edpica de 0,5\u20132,0 mm, dependendo do tempo e da temperatura de cementa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uma sequ\u00eancia t\u00edpica de tratamento t\u00e9rmico \u00e9:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cementa\u00e7\u00e3o a cerca de 925\u00b0C em atmosfera rica em carbono, durante v\u00e1rias horas, dependendo da profundidade desejada da camada cementada.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deixe esfriar e, em seguida, aque\u00e7a novamente a cerca de 840\u2013870 \u00b0C para refinar os gr\u00e3os.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>T\u00eampera em \u00f3leo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A t\u00eampera deve ser feita a uma temperatura de aproximadamente 150\u2013200\u00b0C para manter a camada protetora r\u00edgida.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-applications\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aplicativos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O a\u00e7o 8620 \u00e9 adequado para pe\u00e7as que necessitam de uma superf\u00edcie r\u00edgida e um n\u00facleo resistente ao mesmo tempo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Engrenagens de transmiss\u00e3o automotiva<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engrenagens e pinh\u00f5es diferenciais<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eixos de comando e seguidores de cames<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pinos mestres e pinos de pulso<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Buchas e rolamentos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eixos de servi\u00e7o m\u00e9dio<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Elos de corrente e pinos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O n\u00facleo resistente suporta impactos e cargas de flex\u00e3o, enquanto a camada externa r\u00edgida resiste ao desgaste e melhora a resist\u00eancia \u00e0 fadiga superficial. Ela n\u00e3o pode ser retificada repetidamente, pois cada retifica\u00e7\u00e3o remove parte da camada, e uma vez removida, a pe\u00e7a se desgasta rapidamente. Um a\u00e7o ferramenta temperado em toda a sua espessura pode ser retificado diversas vezes. Pelo mesmo motivo, o a\u00e7o 8620 n\u00e3o \u00e9 adequado para ferramentas de corte: a aresta de corte tem dureza limitada pela dureza da camada cementada, portanto, com o desgaste da camada, a aresta se perde. Tamb\u00e9m n\u00e3o \u00e9 adequado para trabalhos a quente, onde a camada cementada sofre sobret\u00eampera e o n\u00facleo apresenta baixa resist\u00eancia t\u00e9rmica, nem para matrizes de alta compress\u00e3o, onde mesmo uma camada cementada de 60 HRC \u00e9 muito fina para suportar cargas de conforma\u00e7\u00e3o elevadas. O n\u00facleo macio se deforma sob a camada cementada, causando rachaduras ou lascas na mesma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-when-8620-is-the-right-choice\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quando 8620 \u00e9 a escolha certa<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O a\u00e7o 8620 \u00e9 o material ideal para engrenagens e eixos que suportam cargas de flex\u00e3o e impacto e que necessitam de um n\u00facleo verdadeiramente resistente. Ele funciona bem em situa\u00e7\u00f5es onde o desgaste se concentra na superf\u00edcie, onde uma forma complexa se deformaria significativamente com a t\u00eampera total e onde a alta resist\u00eancia \u00e0 fadiga \u00e9 importante, visto que a camada cementada adiciona tens\u00e3o residual de compress\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-common-misconceptions\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conceitos err\u00f4neos comuns<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cO a\u00e7o 8620 pode ser endurecido como a\u00e7o ferramenta.\u201d<\/strong> N\u00e3o \u00e9 poss\u00edvel. Com cerca de 0,20% de carbono, o resfriamento convencional n\u00e3o consegue formar martensita com dureza \u00fatil. A superf\u00edcie precisa ser cementada primeiro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201c8620 \u00e9 uma alternativa mais barata a <a href=\"https:\/\/aobosteel.com\/pt\/o1-tool-steel\/\">O1<\/a> ou <a href=\"https:\/\/aobosteel.com\/pt\/a2-tool-steel\/\">A2<\/a> para matrizes.\u201d<\/strong> N\u00e3o \u00e9. O n\u00facleo macio e a carca\u00e7a fina tornam-no inadequado para matrizes ou ferramentas de corte, e uma matriz 8620 falharia rapidamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201c8620 e D2 s\u00e3o semelhantes porque ambos cont\u00eam cromo.\u201d<\/strong> N\u00e3o s\u00e3o. O a\u00e7o D2 cont\u00e9m cerca de 12% de cromo, que forma carbonetos que aumentam a resist\u00eancia ao desgaste.
