N\u00e3o \u00e9 um a\u00e7o ferramenta e n\u00e3o deve ser utilizado como substituto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-what-is-1045-steel\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">O que \u00e9 o a\u00e7o 1045?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O a\u00e7o 1045 \u00e9 um a\u00e7o de m\u00e9dio carbono com aproximadamente 0,45% de carbono e m\u00ednima adi\u00e7\u00e3o de elementos de liga. A mesma classe aparece como AISI\/SAE 1045 nos EUA, C45 (1.0503) sob a norma EN\/DIN na Europa, S45C sob a norma JIS no Jap\u00e3o e a\u00e7o 45 sob a norma GB chinesa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seu teor de carbono \u00e9 de aproximadamente 0,43-0,50%, sendo o mangan\u00eas o principal elemento de liga. Na pr\u00e1tica, as se\u00e7\u00f5es da matriz e da ferramenta atingem, no m\u00e1ximo, cerca de 25-50 HRC, e mesmo assim, a dureza permanece superficial enquanto o n\u00facleo continua macio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A\u00e7os para ferramentas como D2, A2, O1 e H13 apresentam alta temperabilidade devido ao seu teor de liga, atingindo assim a dureza m\u00e1xima em se\u00e7\u00f5es muito mais espessas com t\u00eampera ao ar ou em \u00f3leo, que resulta em menor distor\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-when-1045-is-the-right-choice\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quando 1045 \u00e9 a escolha certa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O a\u00e7o 1045 \u00e9 uma escolha s\u00f3lida e econ\u00f4mica para pe\u00e7as que necessitam de resist\u00eancia moderada, em vez de dureza de ferramenta. Funciona bem para eixos de m\u00e1quinas, eixos de transmiss\u00e3o e fusos sob carga moderada; para parafusos, pinos e prisioneiros; para engrenagens de servi\u00e7o leve a m\u00e9dio; e para componentes estruturais em geral. Tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 adequado para pe\u00e7as que necessitam apenas de uma superf\u00edcie de contato r\u00edgida, onde o endurecimento por indu\u00e7\u00e3o na \u00e1rea de contato \u00e9 suficiente. Sempre que o custo for mais importante do que a resist\u00eancia ao desgaste e o desempenho da ferramenta n\u00e3o for necess\u00e1rio, o a\u00e7o 1045 cumpre a fun\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-when-tool-steel-is-required-instead-of-1045\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quando \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio usar a\u00e7o ferramenta em vez de a\u00e7o 1045<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O a\u00e7o 1045 apresenta defici\u00eancias sempre que uma aplica\u00e7\u00e3o depende de uma superf\u00edcie de trabalho dura e resistente ao desgaste em toda a sua espessura. Ele n\u00e3o mant\u00e9m o fio de corte; desgasta-se e deforma-se como matriz ou pun\u00e7\u00e3o; n\u00e3o possui a resist\u00eancia \u00e0 compress\u00e3o necess\u00e1ria para ferramentas de conforma\u00e7\u00e3o; e n\u00e3o oferece reten\u00e7\u00e3o de fio para l\u00e2minas de corte. Ele oferece melhor temperabilidade, maior dureza, resist\u00eancia real ao desgaste e menor distor\u00e7\u00e3o a um custo ainda modesto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-surface-hardening-a-partial-solution\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Endurecimento superficial: uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o parcial<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O endurecimento por indu\u00e7\u00e3o ou por chama pode conferir ao a\u00e7o 1045 uma camada superficial dura de 50-58 HRC sobre um n\u00facleo resistente, o que \u00e9 adequado para superf\u00edcies de desgaste em eixos e pe\u00e7as similares. No entanto, isso n\u00e3o torna o 1045 um substituto para o a\u00e7o ferramenta.
