The\u00a0primary objective of\u00a0<em>Tratamento t\u00e9rmico de a\u00e7o para ferramentas M2<\/em>\u00a0is to transform M2 steel from a softened, annealed state (mainly composed of ferrite and alloy carbides) into a hardened and tempered martensitic structure, in which carbides are distributed in an\u00a0optimal position to meet the necessary cutting performance requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A sequ\u00eancia t\u00edpica de tratamento t\u00e9rmico para a\u00e7o ferramenta M2 envolve as seguintes etapas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"11-eael-table-of-content\">4.1 Pr\u00e9-aquecimento<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O pr\u00e9-aquecimento dos materiais deve ser realizado em etapas para minimizar o risco de choque t\u00e9rmico, especialmente quando houver diferen\u00e7as significativas na se\u00e7\u00e3o transversal das pe\u00e7as. Recomendamos resfriar as pe\u00e7as M2 at\u00e9 aproximadamente\u00a0<strong>65\u00b0C (150\u00b0F) ap\u00f3s t\u00eampera<\/strong>, prosseguindo ent\u00e3o para a pr\u00f3xima etapa de t\u00eampera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"14-eael-table-of-content\">4.4 T\u00eampera<sup data-fn=\"b6594de8-cd7e-4bdc-87d7-2b83e68a1258\" class=\"fn\"><a href=\"#b6594de8-cd7e-4bdc-87d7-2b83e68a1258\" id=\"b6594de8-cd7e-4bdc-87d7-2b83e68a1258-link\">1<\/a><\/sup><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O revenido \u00e9 realizado no a\u00e7o r\u00e1pido M2 ap\u00f3s a t\u00eampera para aliviar tens\u00f5es internas, aumentar a tenacidade e promover dureza secund\u00e1ria. Isso envolve o reaquecimento do a\u00e7o a uma temperatura intermedi\u00e1ria abaixo de sua temperatura cr\u00edtica de transforma\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O a\u00e7o r\u00e1pido M2 requer de 2 a 4 ciclos de revenimento a uma temperatura de pelo menos 540\u00b0C (1000\u00b0F), normalmente 3 ciclos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por exemplo, ap\u00f3s a austenitiza\u00e7\u00e3o a 1230\u00b0C (2250\u00b0F), o primeiro ciclo de revenido \u00e9 realizado a 565\u00b0C (1050\u00b0F), seguido pelo segundo a 550\u00b0C (1025\u00b0F) e o terceiro a 540\u00b0C (1000\u00b0F).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para cada ciclo de revenimento, o tempo de perman\u00eancia \u00e9 de 2 horas por polegada (25 mm) da se\u00e7\u00e3o transversal mais espessa. Ap\u00f3s o primeiro revenimento, o componente de a\u00e7o M2 deve ser completamente resfriado \u00e0 temperatura ambiente antes que o pr\u00f3ximo revenimento possa ser realizado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tempering M2 material transforms retained austenite into fresh martensite, precipitates complex carbides, and significantly contributes to the steel\u2019s secondary hardness.
