A deforma\u00e7\u00e3o pl\u00e1stica produz deforma\u00e7\u00f5es de cisalhamento de 2 a 5 e taxas de deforma\u00e7\u00e3o de at\u00e9 10\u207b\u2075 s\u207b\u00b9.<sup>5<\/sup>s<sup>-1<\/sup> (localmente atingindo 10<sup>7<\/sup>s<sup>-1<\/sup>), com temperaturas de interface frequentemente superiores a 1000\u2103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nessas temperaturas, o desempenho da ferramenta deixa de ser controlado pela dureza \u00e0 temperatura ambiente. Quando a dureza diminui em temperaturas elevadas, a deforma\u00e7\u00e3o pl\u00e1stica e o desgaste aceleram, levando \u00e0 perda de estabilidade da aresta de corte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Principais fatores de sele\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No HSC, a sele\u00e7\u00e3o do material \u00e9 limitada principalmente pelo desempenho em altas temperaturas, e n\u00e3o pela dureza ou resist\u00eancia convencionais. O ponto-chave \u00e9 manter a integridade do gume sob carregamento t\u00e9rmico e mec\u00e2nico combinado. Se a dureza cair abaixo da temperatura de corte, a aresta se deforma plasticamente e a taxa de desgaste aumenta drasticamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Resist\u00eancia ao desgaste<br><\/strong>A resist\u00eancia ao desgaste depende da dureza da matriz e das caracter\u00edsticas dos carbonetos. Carbonetos finos e uniformemente distribu\u00eddos (MC, M6C) melhoram a resist\u00eancia ao desgaste por abras\u00e3o e difus\u00e3o. No entanto, um volume excessivo de carbonetos ou carbonetos grosseiros aumentam a fragilidade e promovem o lascamento das arestas sob ciclos t\u00e9rmicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Robustez<br><\/strong>Ciclos t\u00e9rmicos e cargas de corte intermitentes introduzem choques mec\u00e2nicos repetidos. A tenacidade insuficiente leva a lascamento e falha da aresta de corte, especialmente em fresamento ou corte interrompido. Seu teor de cobalto de aproximadamente 8% melhora o endurecimento secund\u00e1rio e retarda o amolecimento t\u00e9rmico, permitindo uma dureza de trabalho de 68\u201370 HRC.<br>\u00c9 adequado para usinagem de ligas de tit\u00e2nio e superligas \u00e0 base de n\u00edquel, onde as temperaturas de corte permanecem elevadas. O alto teor de van\u00e1dio (~5%) forma um grande volume de carbonetos MC duros, melhorando significativamente a resist\u00eancia \u00e0 abras\u00e3o em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com os a\u00e7os r\u00e1pidos convencionais, como o M2.<br>\u00c9 adequado para materiais de alta resist\u00eancia e alta tens\u00e3o onde o desgaste da aresta \u00e9 predominante. No entanto, a menor tenacidade limita seu uso em cortes interrompidos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-fd805aa2\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AISI M4 (A\u00e7o r\u00e1pido com alto teor de van\u00e1dio)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O a\u00e7o M4 \u00e9 utilizado em condi\u00e7\u00f5es onde a resist\u00eancia ao desgaste abrasivo \u00e9 importante, mas ainda se exige alguma tenacidade. Com van\u00e1dio ~4%, ele proporciona boa resist\u00eancia ao desgaste, mantendo uma tenacidade superior \u00e0 do a\u00e7o T15.<br>A dureza t\u00edpica \u00e9 de 62\u201364 HRC. \u00c9 adequada para usinagem de ferro fundido, lat\u00e3o e a\u00e7os temperados, onde s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rias estabilidade de aresta e resist\u00eancia a lascas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-fd805aa2\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A\u00e7os produzidos por metalurgia do p\u00f3 (P\/M) (ex.: ASP 60 \/ CPM Rex 76)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Os a\u00e7os P\/M resolvem o problema da segrega\u00e7\u00e3o de carbonetos em a\u00e7os r\u00e1pidos convencionais, produzindo uma microestrutura uniforme.
