No es un acero para herramientas y no debe sustituirlo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-what-is-1045-steel\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el acero 1045?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El acero 1045 es un acero de carbono medio con aproximadamente 0,45% de carbono y una aleaci\u00f3n m\u00ednima. Este mismo grado aparece como AISI\/SAE 1045 en EE. UU., C45 (1,0503) seg\u00fan EN\/DIN en Europa, S45C seg\u00fan JIS en Jap\u00f3n y acero 45 seg\u00fan la norma china GB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Su contenido de carbono es de aproximadamente 0,43-0,501 TP3T, con el manganeso como principal elemento de aleaci\u00f3n. Esta composici\u00f3n le confiere una resistencia moderada, una tenacidad aceptable, buena maquinabilidad en estado recocido o normalizado y un precio bajo. El acero 1045 alcanza una alta dureza \u00fanicamente en secciones muy delgadas tras el enfriamiento en agua, lo que provoca una distorsi\u00f3n significativa y un mayor riesgo de agrietamiento. En la pr\u00e1ctica, las secciones de la matriz y la herramienta alcanzan, en el mejor de los casos, entre 25 y 50 HRC, e incluso entonces, la dureza es superficial, mientras que el n\u00facleo permanece blando.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los aceros para herramientas como el D2, el A2, el O1 y el H13 presentan una gran capacidad de templabilidad debido a su contenido de aleaci\u00f3n, por lo que alcanzan su dureza m\u00e1xima en secciones mucho m\u00e1s gruesas con un temple en aire o aceite de menor distorsi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-when-1045-is-the-right-choice\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cuando el art\u00edculo 1045 es la opci\u00f3n correcta<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El acero 1045 es una opci\u00f3n s\u00f3lida y econ\u00f3mica para piezas que requieren una resistencia moderada en lugar de una dureza de nivel de herramienta. El acero O1 contiene aproximadamente el doble de carbono que el 1045, adem\u00e1s de manganeso, cromo y tungsteno a\u00f1adidos intencionadamente. Ofrece mejor templabilidad, mayor dureza, resistencia al desgaste real y menor deformaci\u00f3n a un costo a\u00fan moderado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-surface-hardening-a-partial-solution\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Endurecimiento superficial: una soluci\u00f3n parcial<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El endurecimiento por inducci\u00f3n o llama puede proporcionar al acero 1045 una capa dura de 50-58 HRC sobre un n\u00facleo resistente, lo que resulta adecuado para superficies de desgaste en ejes y piezas similares. Sin embargo, esto no convierte al 1045 en un sustituto del acero para herramientas. La capa es delgada, generalmente de 1 a 5 mm, y se asienta sobre un n\u00facleo blando que no puede soportarla bajo cargas pesadas. Dado que el endurecimiento superficial no a\u00f1ade carburos, la resistencia al desgaste es limitada y la capa puede agrietarse o descascarillarse bajo altas tensiones de contacto. El reafilado y el re-endurecimiento tambi\u00e9n alteran las dimensiones.
