Se clasifica como &quot;acero del grupo P&quot; en la norma. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steel.org\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0693e3\" class=\"has-inline-color\">AISI<\/mark><\/a> Sistema de clasificaci\u00f3n y como acero para herramientas de trabajo en fr\u00edo en las normas EN\/DIN. La temperatura en los procesos de moldeo de pl\u00e1stico suele ser inferior a 200 \u00b0C. Los grados de bajo contenido de carbono, como P2, P4 y P6, se utilizan t\u00edpicamente para cavidades con &quot;cono&quot; (tallado), donde un cubo maestro de acero endurecido se introduce a presi\u00f3n en una pieza bruta de matriz m\u00e1s blanda para formar la impresi\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Aceros para trabajo en caliente<\/strong> \u2013 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/aobosteel.com\/es\/h13-tool-steel\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0693e3\" class=\"has-inline-color\">H13<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. Un excelente acero para moldes de pl\u00e1stico y matrices de fundici\u00f3n a presi\u00f3n. Presenta una excelente resistencia al revenido, menor tendencia al agrietamiento y m\u00ednima distorsi\u00f3n durante el endurecimiento al aire. Al tratarse t\u00e9rmicamente para alcanzar una mayor dureza (&gt;50 HRC), ofrece una excelente capacidad de pulido y responde muy bien a la nitruraci\u00f3n, alcanzando una alta dureza superficial.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Aceros inoxidables martens\u00edticos<\/strong>\u2013<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/aobosteel.com\/es\/420-stainless-steel\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0693e3\" class=\"has-inline-color\">acero inoxidable 420<\/mark><\/a> y modificaciones<\/strong>Se utiliza com\u00fanmente en moldes de inyecci\u00f3n, especialmente para pl\u00e1sticos corrosivos o en condiciones atmosf\u00e9ricas severas, ya que proporciona resistencia inherente a la corrosi\u00f3n sin necesidad de cromado. Puede alcanzar un acabado brillante y una buena estabilidad dimensional tras el tratamiento t\u00e9rmico. Sin embargo, el revenido en un rango espec\u00edfico (425-595 \u00b0C) puede causar fragilizaci\u00f3n y p\u00e9rdida de resistencia a la corrosi\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Aceros resistentes a los golpes \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/aobosteel.com\/es\/s7-tool-steel\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0693e3\" class=\"has-inline-color\">S7<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. Se utiliza para aplicaciones que exigen mayor resistencia al desgaste, especialmente al moldear pl\u00e1sticos abrasivos (por ejemplo, pl\u00e1sticos reforzados con fibra).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-properties\">Propiedades<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pulibilidad y texturabilidad.<\/strong> Los pl\u00e1sticos fundidos pueden reproducir detalles minuciosos en la superficie del molde, lo que hace que una superficie perfecta y sin defectos sea crucial para la apariencia del producto final. La alta dureza superficial del acero para moldes de pl\u00e1stico mejora significativamente la capacidad de pulido y minimiza defectos de pulido como la &quot;piel de naranja&quot; (endurecimiento por deformaci\u00f3n localizada).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dureza y resistencia<\/strong>. La alta dureza superficial y la alta resistencia del n\u00facleo del acero para moldes de pl\u00e1stico evitan que la cavidad se hunda bajo altas presiones de inyecci\u00f3n. Si bien la dureza de los moldes de pl\u00e1stico pretemplados suele oscilar entre 30 y 40 HRC, su superficie puede endurecerse mediante carburaci\u00f3n o nitruraci\u00f3n para mejorar la resistencia al desgaste.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dureza y resistencia a los golpes<\/strong>Los moldes est\u00e1n sujetos a choques mec\u00e1nicos durante su funcionamiento (apertura\/cierre) y a choques t\u00e9rmicos debido a los ciclos r\u00e1pidos de calentamiento\/enfriamiento, especialmente en m\u00e1quinas de ciclos r\u00e1pidos. Una buena tenacidad puede prevenir el agrietamiento.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Estabilidad dimensional<\/strong>. Minimizar la distorsi\u00f3n o el cambio dimensional durante el tratamiento t\u00e9rmico es fundamental para los moldes de precisi\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Maquinabilidad<\/strong>El mecanizado representa una parte significativa (hasta 70%) del coste total de fabricaci\u00f3n del molde.
