Propiedades del acero para herramientas S1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Comprender estas propiedades del acero S1 le ayudar\u00e1 a determinar su idoneidad para sus aplicaciones de f\u00e1brica espec\u00edficas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"3-eael-table-of-content\">2.1 Dureza<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El acero para herramientas S1 puede alcanzar una dureza de 40-63 HRC despu\u00e9s&nbsp;<em>tratamiento t\u00e9rmico<\/em>Sin embargo, para la mayor\u00eda de las aplicaciones pr\u00e1cticas que requieren su caracter\u00edstica resistencia a los impactos, S1 se utiliza normalmente en un rango de dureza de trabajo de&nbsp;<strong>50-56 HRC<\/strong>, a menudo alrededor de 55 HRC. Es importante recordar que si bien una mayor dureza mejora&nbsp;<em>tener puesto<\/em>&nbsp;resistencia, generalmente reduce la tenacidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"4-eael-table-of-content\">2.2 Respuesta al tratamiento t\u00e9rmico<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>S1 es un acero de temple en aceite, capaz de alcanzar su dureza requerida a trav\u00e9s del aceite.&nbsp;<em>temple<\/em>Para secciones transversales m\u00e1s simples o grandes, el temple con agua o salmuera tambi\u00e9n puede ser una opci\u00f3n viable. Presenta una profundidad de endurecimiento media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">Post-endurecimiento y&nbsp;<em>templado<\/em>&nbsp;son pasos cr\u00edticos<\/span> Si bien una temperatura de revenido baja (alrededor de 300 \u00b0C \/ 570 \u00b0F) proporciona la m\u00e1xima dureza, el acero S1 ofrece un amplio rango de revenido \u00fatil, desde aproximadamente 175 \u00b0C hasta 540 \u00b0C (350 \u00b0F a 1000 \u00b0F). En comparaci\u00f3n con aceros con mayor contenido de aleaci\u00f3n, el acero para herramientas S1 presenta una disminuci\u00f3n m\u00e1s pronunciada de la dureza a medida que aumenta la temperatura de revenido. Tenga en cuenta que un revenido por debajo de 315 \u00b0C (600 \u00b0F) puede aumentar la sensibilidad del acero a las entallas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"5-eael-table-of-content\">2.3 Dureza y resistencia a los golpes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Aqu\u00ed es donde el acero para herramientas S1 realmente destaca. Generalmente, esta es menor que la de los aceros para herramientas de trabajo en fr\u00edo, como por ejemplo:&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/aobosteel.com\/es\/d2-tool-steel\/\">D2<\/a><\/em>&nbsp;o&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/aobosteel.com\/es\/a2-tool-steel\/\">A2<\/a><\/em>El contenido de tungsteno contribuye a una resistencia inherente al desgaste. Para aplicaciones que requieren una mayor resistencia al desgaste superficial, se puede considerar la nitruraci\u00f3n. Sin embargo, este proceso requiere un manejo cuidadoso, ya que las temperaturas involucradas podr\u00edan reducir la dureza y la resistencia del n\u00facleo, lo que podr\u00eda provocar deformaci\u00f3n pl\u00e1stica en zonas de alta tensi\u00f3n si no se controla adecuadamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"7-eael-table-of-content\">2.5 Dureza en caliente y resistencia al calor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El acero para herramientas S1 posee&nbsp;<strong>Dureza en caliente baja a media<\/strong>No mantiene su dureza a temperaturas elevadas con la misma eficacia que los aceros de alta velocidad. Sin embargo, gracias en parte a su contenido de tungsteno, ofrece cierta resistencia al calor, lo que permite su uso en servicios a temperaturas moderadamente elevadas o en algunas aplicaciones de trabajo en caliente, generalmente hasta temperaturas cercanas a los 540 \u00b0C (1000 \u00b0F).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"8-eael-table-of-content\">2.6 Maquinabilidad<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando se recoce adecuadamente, el acero para herramientas S1 se considera que tiene&nbsp;<strong>buena maquinabilidad<\/strong>Su clasificaci\u00f3n se suele citar entre 90 y 95, en comparaci\u00f3n con el acero al carbono 1% est\u00e1ndar de 100. Incluso en estado templado, su maquinabilidad se considera bastante buena. La maquinabilidad del acero S1 puede mejorarse a\u00fan m\u00e1s aumentando el contenido de azufre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"9-eael-table-of-content\">2.7 Estabilidad dimensional<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El enfriamiento con aceite, el m\u00e9todo t\u00edpico para S1, generalmente da como resultado&nbsp;<strong>cambios dimensionales peque\u00f1os y predecibles<\/strong>Si bien los aceros de temple al aire, como el S7, ofrecen una estabilidad dimensional superior, el acero para herramientas S1 se considera bueno en los grados de temple al aceite o al agua. Tratamiento t\u00e9rmico del acero para herramientas S1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El acero para herramientas S1 es resistente a los impactos. Un tratamiento t\u00e9rmico adecuado es fundamental para su rendimiento. Esta gu\u00eda describe los pasos est\u00e1ndar del tratamiento t\u00e9rmico para el acero para herramientas S1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"14-eael-table-of-content\">3.1 Precalentamiento<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El precalentamiento es necesario para el acero para herramientas S1 antes de la austenizaci\u00f3n. Reduce el choque t\u00e9rmico, ayuda a aliviar las tensiones de mecanizado y puede mejorar la productividad del horno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Procedimiento: Calentar a 1200-1250 \u00b0F (650-677 \u00b0C). Mantener de 10 a 15 minutos o hasta que la temperatura se haya alcanzado uniformemente. Se recomienda un calentamiento r\u00e1pido desde el precalentamiento hasta la temperatura de austenizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"15-eael-table-of-content\">3.2 Austenizaci\u00f3n (endurecimiento)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Este paso transforma la estructura del acero en&nbsp;<em>austenita<\/em>, disolviendo los elementos de aleaci\u00f3n para permitir el endurecimiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Procedimiento: Calentar a 940-954 \u00b0C (1725-1750 \u00b0F). Tambi\u00e9n se menciona un rango de 845-925 \u00b0C (1550-1700 \u00b0F).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tiempo de remojo:<\/strong>&nbsp;Remoje durante 1 hora por cada pulgada de la secci\u00f3n transversal m\u00e1s peque\u00f1a (por ejemplo, 30 minutos para 1\/8 de pulgada). Respete estrictamente los tiempos de remojo, ya que un tiempo excesivo puede ser perjudicial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"16-eael-table-of-content\">3.3 Enfriamiento<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El enfriamiento r\u00e1pido transforma la austenita en martensita. El acero S1 es principalmente un acero de temple en aceite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Procedimiento: Enfriar en aceite a 52-65 \u00b0C (125-150 \u00b0F). Revenido inmediatamente.
