El temple al aire suele ser la opci\u00f3n preferida, ya que reduce significativamente el riesgo de distorsi\u00f3n y agrietamiento por temple en comparaci\u00f3n con un temple en aceite m\u00e1s severo, especialmente para piezas grandes o complejas. El temple en aceite puede utilizarse si el objetivo principal es obtener la m\u00e1xima dureza.
