Propiedades del acero para herramientas L6<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El acero para herramientas L6 se clasifica como acero para herramientas de baja aleaci\u00f3n para usos especiales, perteneciente a la serie &quot;L&quot; del sistema de clasificaci\u00f3n del Instituto Americano del Hierro y el Acero (AISI). Su designaci\u00f3n espec\u00edfica, UNS (Sistema de Numeraci\u00f3n Unificado), es T61206.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"4-eael-table-of-content\">3.1 Propiedades mec\u00e1nicas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dureza<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Tiene un rango flexible de dureza dependiendo de su condici\u00f3n y tratamiento:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El rango de dureza en estado recocido es de 183-212 HB, con buena maquinabilidad. Despu\u00e9s del tratamiento t\u00e9rmico (dureza de trabajo), la dureza es de 45-62 HRC, y despu\u00e9s del temple, puede alcanzar una dureza de aproximadamente 64 HRC. La dureza <span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">La dureza requerida para las sierras de carpinter\u00eda es de 45-50 HRC, mientras que la dureza de las herramientas de uso general despu\u00e9s del templado a baja temperatura oscila entre 58 y\u00a0<\/span>62 HRC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dureza<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>El material L6 presenta mayor tenacidad que muchos grados de alto contenido de carbono que se templan en aceite. Esta alta tenacidad lo convierte en una excelente opci\u00f3n para herramientas y componentes sometidos a cargas de impacto o choque. Si bien la ductilidad a la tracci\u00f3n puede ser menor a temperaturas de revenido m\u00e1s bajas, mejora significativamente al revenerarse por encima de 315 \u00b0C (600 \u00b0F). El L6 tambi\u00e9n presenta una excelente ductilidad torsional tras un tratamiento t\u00e9rmico adecuado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Resistencia al desgaste<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>La resistencia al desgaste es moderada, inferior a la de otros aceros para herramientas, como&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/aobosteel.com\/es\/o1-tool-steel\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0693e3\" class=\"has-inline-color\">O1<\/mark><\/a><\/em>&nbsp;o W1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dureza en caliente y resistencia al ablandamiento:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>El acero para herramientas L6 presenta baja dureza en caliente y baja resistencia al ablandamiento durante el revenido. Por lo tanto, generalmente no se recomienda para aplicaciones que impliquen servicio a temperaturas elevadas. Para entornos de alta temperatura, los aceros espec\u00edficos para trabajo en caliente ser\u00edan m\u00e1s adecuados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"5-eael-table-of-content\">3.2 Maquinabilidad&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Su maquinabilidad es media. Tratamiento t\u00e9rmico del acero para herramientas L6<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/aobosteel.com\/es\/l6-tool-steel-heat-treatment\/\">Tratamiento t\u00e9rmico del acero para herramientas L6<\/a>&nbsp;El proceso implica cuatro pasos principales: precalentamiento, austenitizaci\u00f3n (endurecimiento), temple y revenido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"7-eael-table-of-content\">4.1 Precalentamiento<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La temperatura de precalentamiento del acero para herramientas L6 es\u00a0<strong>1200 \u00b0F (650 \u00b0C)<\/strong>, con un tiempo de retenci\u00f3n de\u00a0<strong>10 a 15 minutos<\/strong>, o hasta que el material se caliente uniformemente. Evite el remojo prolongado, ya que puede alterar la estructura molecular y causar efectos adversos en procesos posteriores. Para componentes L6 grandes o complejos, se recomienda calentar lentamente dentro del rango de\u00a0<strong>650\u2013760 \u00b0C (1200\u20131400 \u00b0F)<\/strong>Si se coloca el material directamente en un horno ya calentado a la temperatura de precalentamiento, es aconsejable colocar primero el material encima del horno para eliminar el fr\u00edo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"8-eael-table-of-content\">4.2 Endurecimiento (Austenitizaci\u00f3n)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La temperatura de endurecimiento es\u00a0<strong>1525\u00b0F (830\u00b0C).<\/strong>\u00a0Algunas fuentes indican una temperatura de 790\u2013870 \u00b0C (1450\u20131600 \u00b0F) o de 790\u2013845 \u00b0C (1454\u20131553 \u00b0F). Este proceso se ve influenciado tanto por el tiempo como por la temperatura. El tiempo de remojo debe ser lo suficientemente largo como para garantizar que la pieza de trabajo se caliente completamente. Durante este proceso, la microestructura del acero cambia de ferrita-perlita a austenita, y los carburos de la aleaci\u00f3n se disuelven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"9-eael-table-of-content\">4.3 Apagado<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El objetivo del temple es enfriar la austenita con la suficiente rapidez para transformarla en una estructura martens\u00edtica endurecida. El acero para herramientas L6 es principalmente un acero templado en aceite. Presenta buena templabilidad y alcanza la dureza requerida mediante el temple en aceite. Tras el temple, las piezas deben enfriarse a <strong>125-150 \u00b0F (52-65 \u00b0C)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"10-eael-table-of-content\">4.4 Templado<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando la temperatura de la pieza desciende a\u00a0<strong>125-150 \u00b0F (52-65 \u00b0C)<\/strong>, Se puede realizar un revenido. El revenido reduce las tensiones internas, mejora la tenacidad del acero y ajusta su dureza. El acero L6 suele revenirse una sola vez, pero se recomiendan varios revenidos para reducir la austenita residual y aliviar las tensiones. No debe ser inferior a 845 \u00b0C (1550 \u00b0F).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El acero L6 nunca debe normalizarse despu\u00e9s del forjado; en su lugar, debe recocerse. El acero para herramientas L6 tiene buena templabilidad, por lo que debe enfriarse desde la temperatura de forjado m\u00e1s lentamente que mediante enfriamiento al aire. El acero L6 puede enterrarse en materiales aislantes t\u00e9rmicos como cal, mica o tierra de diatomeas para ralentizar el enfriamiento, evitar el agrietamiento y mantener el acero en un estado semiblando para su posterior procesamiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"12-eael-table-of-content\">4.6 Recocido y alivio de tensiones<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Los aceros L6 no deben normalizarse debido a su alta templabilidad, sino que deben recocerse despu\u00e9s del forjado y antes del endurecimiento. La temperatura de recocido para L6 es\u00a0<strong>870 \u00b0C (1598 \u00b0F)<\/strong>El alivio de tensi\u00f3n a veces se realiza despu\u00e9s del mecanizado en bruto y antes del mecanizado final, generalmente mediante calentamiento a\u00a0<strong>650-730 \u00b0C (1200-1350 \u00b0F)<\/strong>\u00a0para minimizar la distorsi\u00f3n durante el endurecimiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"13-eael-table-of-content\">5. Aqu\u00ed se compara el L6:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>vs. Acero para herramientas O1:<\/strong>&nbsp;L6 ofrece una tenacidad significativamente mayor pero exhibe una menor resistencia a la abrasi\u00f3n en comparaci\u00f3n con O1.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>vs. Acero para herramientas L2:<\/strong>&nbsp;L6 generalmente ofrece una mejor templabilidad debido a su contenido de n\u00edquel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>vs. aceros para moldes tipo P:<\/strong>&nbsp;Para los moldes de inyecci\u00f3n de pl\u00e1stico, los aceros especializados tipo P suelen ser la opci\u00f3n preferida.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>vs.\u00a0<em>4140<\/em>\/4150 Aceros aleados:<\/strong>\u00a0Si bien 4140\/4150 a veces se utilizan para accesorios m\u00e1s simples o matrices de tiradas cortas, L6 es un grado de acero para herramientas espec\u00edfico que ofrece un rendimiento superior para herramientas m\u00e1s exigentes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>vs. 1095<\/strong>El acero L6 es un acero aleado para herramientas dise\u00f1ado para equilibrar la dureza, la tenacidad y la resistencia al desgaste gracias a su contenido de n\u00edquel, cromo y molibdeno, lo que lo hace adecuado para diversos troqueles y herramientas de corte.
