Tratamiento t\u00e9rmico<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El acero M2 solo puede alcanzar el rendimiento requerido mediante un tratamiento t\u00e9rmico adecuado. El objetivo principal de\u00a0<em>Tratamiento t\u00e9rmico del acero para herramientas M2<\/em>\u00a0Consiste en transformar el acero M2, desde un estado reblandecido y recocido (compuesto principalmente de ferrita y carburos de aleaci\u00f3n) hasta una estructura martens\u00edtica endurecida y templada, en la que los carburos se distribuyen en una posici\u00f3n \u00f3ptima para cumplir con los requisitos de rendimiento de corte necesarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La secuencia t\u00edpica de tratamiento t\u00e9rmico para acero para herramientas M2 implica las siguientes etapas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"11-eael-table-of-content\">4.1 Precalentamiento<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El precalentamiento de los materiales debe realizarse por etapas para minimizar el riesgo de choque t\u00e9rmico, especialmente cuando existen diferencias significativas en la secci\u00f3n transversal de las piezas. Si el horno se calienta primero a...&nbsp;<strong>650 \u00b0C (1200 \u00b0F)<\/strong>Podemos colocar piezas M2 en la parte superior del horno para eliminar el fr\u00edo y luego colocarlas en \u00e9l. Esto ayuda a reducir el choque t\u00e9rmico y el riesgo de agrietamiento. Posteriormente, se colocan en el horno y se mantienen all\u00ed durante unos 10 a 12 minutos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"12-eael-table-of-content\">4.2 Endurecimiento (Austenitizaci\u00f3n)&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La temperatura de endurecimiento del acero para herramientas M2 normalmente var\u00eda entre&nbsp;<strong>1190 \u00b0C a 1220 \u00b0C (2175 \u00b0F a 2225 \u00b0F)<\/strong>Algunas referencias citan temperaturas de hasta 1230 \u00b0C (2250 \u00b0F). El tiempo de remojo a la temperatura de endurecimiento final del acero r\u00e1pido M2 es relativamente corto, de tan solo unos minutos, dependiendo del tama\u00f1o de la pieza y la eficiencia del horno.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"13-eael-table-of-content\">4.3 Apagado<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El\u00a0<em>temple<\/em>\u00a0El medio puede ser aire, aceite o sal. El temple en aceite funciona bien para piezas de acero M2 con una secci\u00f3n transversal de hasta aproximadamente 1 a\u00a0<strong>1,5 pulgadas (25-38 mm)<\/strong>La transformaci\u00f3n martens\u00edtica comienza aproximadamente\u00a0<strong>316 \u00b0C (600 \u00b0F)<\/strong>\u00a0y se completa aproximadamente\u00a0<strong>93 \u00b0C (200 \u00b0F)<\/strong>Recomendamos enfriar las piezas M2 a aproximadamente\u00a0<strong>65 \u00b0C (150 \u00b0F) despu\u00e9s del enfriamiento<\/strong>, para luego proceder al siguiente paso de templado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"14-eael-table-of-content\">4.4 Templado<sup data-fn=\"b6594de8-cd7e-4bdc-87d7-2b83e68a1258\" class=\"fn\"><a href=\"#b6594de8-cd7e-4bdc-87d7-2b83e68a1258\" id=\"b6594de8-cd7e-4bdc-87d7-2b83e68a1258-link\">1<\/a><\/sup><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El revenido se realiza en el acero r\u00e1pido M2 despu\u00e9s del temple para aliviar las tensiones internas, mejorar la tenacidad y promover la dureza secundaria. Esto implica recalentar el acero a una temperatura intermedia inferior a su temperatura cr\u00edtica de transformaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El acero para herramientas de alta velocidad M2 requiere de 2 a 4 ciclos de revenido a una temperatura de al menos 540 \u00b0C (1000 \u00b0F), t\u00edpicamente 3 ciclos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por ejemplo, despu\u00e9s de la austenizaci\u00f3n a 1230 \u00b0C (2250 \u00b0F), el primer ciclo de revenido se realiza a 565 \u00b0C (1050 \u00b0F), seguido del segundo a 550 \u00b0C (1025 \u00b0F) y el tercero a 540 \u00b0C (1000 \u00b0F).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para cada ciclo de revenido, el tiempo de permanencia es de 2 horas por cada 25 mm (pulgada) de la secci\u00f3n transversal m\u00e1s gruesa. Tras el primer revenido, la pieza de acero M2 debe enfriarse completamente a temperatura ambiente antes de realizar el siguiente revenido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El revenido del material M2 transforma la austenita retenida en martensita fresca, precipita carburos complejos y contribuye significativamente a la dureza secundaria del acero.
