Una matriz martens\u00edtica endurecida proporciona una dureza base, mientras que los carburos de aleaci\u00f3n dura resisten el corte y la formaci\u00f3n de surcos por part\u00edculas abrasivas.\n      <\/p>\n      <p>\n        La matriz por s\u00ed sola no es suficiente en condiciones de abrasi\u00f3n severa. Una matriz de acero endurecido puede alcanzar entre 65 y 70 HRC, mientras que muchas part\u00edculas abrasivas pueden llegar a 1500 o 2500 HV.
