Las presiones internas suelen superar los 200 MPa (30 ksi), generando fuerzas de ruptura y cargas de sujeci\u00f3n en la matriz. Al mismo tiempo, el contacto deslizante bajo carga produce cizallamiento por fricci\u00f3n en la superficie de la matriz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En el hidroconformado en caliente, las temperaturas de la matriz pueden alcanzar hasta 400 \u00b0C (750 \u00b0F), especialmente al conformar aleaciones de aluminio o magnesio. En estas condiciones, la falla de la matriz suele deberse a deformaci\u00f3n pl\u00e1stica, agarrotamiento, desgaste superficial o, a temperaturas elevadas, fatiga t\u00e9rmica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Factores de selecci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La selecci\u00f3n del acero para herramientas utilizado en matrices de hidroconformado se rige por tres riesgos principales: deformaci\u00f3n bajo presi\u00f3n, da\u00f1os superficiales por fricci\u00f3n y fallo estructural bajo carga combinada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Resistencia a la compresi\u00f3n<br><\/strong>El hidroconformado aplica una presi\u00f3n hidrost\u00e1tica sostenida y una fuerza de sujeci\u00f3n axial. El material del molde debe resistir la deformaci\u00f3n pl\u00e1stica para mantener la precisi\u00f3n dimensional. Una vez que se produce la fluencia, la geometr\u00eda del molde se altera permanentemente, lo que provoca desviaciones en la pieza y el rechazo prematuro de la herramienta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Resistencia al desgaste frente a tenacidad<br><\/strong>La fricci\u00f3n entre la pieza de trabajo y la superficie de la matriz provoca desgaste adhesivo (agarre) y abrasi\u00f3n. El aumento de la dureza mejora la resistencia al desgaste, pero reduce la tenacidad. Bajo alta presi\u00f3n interna, pueden desarrollarse tensiones de tracci\u00f3n localizadas, lo que hace que los aceros fr\u00e1giles sean propensos a agrietarse.<br>Por lo tanto, la selecci\u00f3n debe basarse en el modo de fallo predominante. En condiciones de desgaste, una mayor dureza y un mayor contenido de carburo mejoran la vida \u00fatil del troquel. Cuando existe riesgo de agrietamiento, la tenacidad se convierte en el factor limitante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pulibilidad<\/strong><br>El acabado superficial afecta directamente a la fricci\u00f3n y al flujo del material. Una mala calidad superficial aumenta el desgaste y acelera el da\u00f1o superficial. Los aceros para herramientas con una microestructura uniforme permiten un pulido estable y una mejor retenci\u00f3n de la superficie durante la producci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Estabilidad t\u00e9rmica<br><\/strong>En el hidroconformado en caliente, el acero debe conservar su dureza y resistir la fatiga t\u00e9rmica durante los ciclos repetidos de calentamiento y enfriamiento. El ablandamiento acelera el desgaste, mientras que una resistencia insuficiente a la fatiga t\u00e9rmica provoca el agrietamiento de la superficie. Esto se vuelve cr\u00edtico cuando la temperatura de la matriz supera las condiciones t\u00edpicas del conformado en fr\u00edo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aceros para herramientas recomendados<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-b9ebc6bd\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-aisi-d2-tool-steel-1-2379-skd11\">Acero para herramientas AISI D2 | 1.2379 | SKD11<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El acero AISI D2 es un acero para herramientas de trabajo en fr\u00edo con alto contenido de carbono (aproximadamente 1,51 TP3T) y cromo (aproximadamente 121 TP3T), id\u00f3neo para el hidroconformado en fr\u00edo, donde predominan la fricci\u00f3n y el desgaste. Con una dureza de 60-62 HRC, ofrece una alta resistencia a la abrasi\u00f3n y a la compresi\u00f3n, lo que ayuda a mantener la geometr\u00eda de la matriz durante largos ciclos de producci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Su limitaci\u00f3n radica en su baja tenacidad debido a su alto contenido de carburo. Bajo alta presi\u00f3n interna o soporte estructural insuficiente, pueden producirse grietas. Con una dureza de 57 a 60 HRC, ofrece menor resistencia al desgaste que el D2, pero una tenacidad significativamente mayor.
