La falla de la herramienta est\u00e1 dominada por el desgaste por difusi\u00f3n (formaci\u00f3n de cr\u00e1ter), el desgaste abrasivo del flanco, el desportillado del filo y el ablandamiento t\u00e9rmico r\u00e1pido. Una vez que la dureza disminuye a temperaturas elevadas, la deformaci\u00f3n pl\u00e1stica y el desgaste se aceleran, lo que lleva a una p\u00e9rdida de estabilidad del filo de corte.<\/p>\n\n      <h2>Factores clave de selecci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n      <p>En HSC, la selecci\u00f3n del material est\u00e1 limitada principalmente por el rendimiento a alta temperatura en lugar de la dureza o resistencia convencionales. La clave es mantener la integridad del filo de corte bajo cargas t\u00e9rmicas y mec\u00e1nicas combinadas. Sin embargo, un volumen excesivo de carburos o carburos gruesos aumentan la fragilidad y promueven el desportillado del filo bajo ciclos t\u00e9rmicos.<\/p>\n      <p><strong>Tenacidad<br><\/strong>Los ciclos t\u00e9rmicos y las cargas de corte intermitentes introducen choques mec\u00e1nicos repetidos. Una tenacidad insuficiente conduce a microdesportillado y falla del filo, especialmente en fresado o corte interrumpido. Aumentar la resistencia al desgaste elevando el contenido de aleaci\u00f3n generalmente reduce la tenacidad, por lo que el equilibrio debe coincidir con la condici\u00f3n de corte.<\/p>\n\n      <h2>Aceros para herramientas recomendados<\/h2>\n\n      <div class=\"aobo-grade-block\">\n        <h3 id=\"h-aisi-m42-tool-steel-1-3247-skh59\">Acero para herramientas AISI M42 | 1.3247 | SKH59<\/h3>\n        <p>El M42 se utiliza donde la temperatura de corte es el factor limitante dominante. Su contenido de cobalto de ~8% mejora el endurecimiento secundario y retrasa el ablandamiento t\u00e9rmico, permitiendo una dureza de trabajo de 68\u201370 HRC.<br>Es adecuado para el mecanizado de aleaciones de titanio y superaleaciones a base de n\u00edquel donde las temperaturas de corte permanecen altas. El alto contenido de vanadio (~5%) forma un gran volumen de carburos MC duros, mejorando significativamente la resistencia a la abrasi\u00f3n en comparaci\u00f3n con los grados de acero r\u00e1pido convencionales como el M2.<br>Es adecuado para materiales de alta resistencia y alta tensi\u00f3n donde predomina el desgaste del filo.
