La deformaci\u00f3n pl\u00e1stica produce deformaciones por cizallamiento de 2 a 5 y tasas de deformaci\u00f3n de hasta 10.<sup>5<\/sup>s<sup>\u22121<\/sup> (alcanzando localmente 10<sup>7<\/sup>s<sup>\u22121<\/sup>), con temperaturas de interfaz que a menudo superan los 1000\u2103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A estas temperaturas, el rendimiento de la herramienta ya no depende de la dureza a temperatura ambiente. La falla de la herramienta se debe principalmente al desgaste por difusi\u00f3n (formaci\u00f3n de cr\u00e1teres), el desgaste abrasivo del flanco, el astillamiento del filo y el r\u00e1pido ablandamiento t\u00e9rmico. Una vez que la dureza disminuye a temperaturas elevadas, la deformaci\u00f3n pl\u00e1stica y el desgaste se aceleran, lo que conlleva una p\u00e9rdida de estabilidad del filo de corte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Factores clave de selecci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En HSC, la selecci\u00f3n de materiales est\u00e1 limitada principalmente por el rendimiento a altas temperaturas, m\u00e1s que por la dureza o la resistencia convencionales. La clave reside en mantener la integridad del filo de corte bajo cargas t\u00e9rmicas y mec\u00e1nicas combinadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dureza en caliente (dureza roja)<br><\/strong>Esta es la principal limitaci\u00f3n. El acero debe conservar su dureza y resistir el revenido a temperaturas superiores a 600-1000 \u00b0C. Si la dureza disminuye por debajo de la temperatura de corte, el filo se deforma pl\u00e1sticamente y el desgaste aumenta dr\u00e1sticamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Resistencia al desgaste<br><\/strong>La resistencia al desgaste depende de la dureza de la matriz y de las caracter\u00edsticas de los carburos. Los carburos finos y distribuidos uniformemente (MC, M6C) mejoran la resistencia a la abrasi\u00f3n y al desgaste por difusi\u00f3n. Sin embargo, un volumen excesivo de carburos o la presencia de carburos gruesos aumentan la fragilidad y favorecen el astillamiento de los bordes durante los ciclos t\u00e9rmicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dureza<br><\/strong>Los ciclos t\u00e9rmicos y las cargas de corte intermitentes generan choques mec\u00e1nicos repetidos. Una tenacidad insuficiente provoca microdesgaste y fallos en el filo, especialmente en el fresado o el corte interrumpido. Aumentar la resistencia al desgaste incrementando el contenido de aleaci\u00f3n suele reducir la tenacidad, por lo que el equilibrio debe ajustarse a las condiciones de corte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aceros para herramientas recomendados<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-fd805aa2\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-aisi-m42-tool-steel-1-3247-skh59\">Acero para herramientas AISI M42 | 1.3247 | SKH59<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El M42 se utiliza cuando la temperatura de corte es el factor limitante principal. Su contenido de cobalto de aproximadamente 81 TP3T mejora el endurecimiento secundario y retrasa el ablandamiento t\u00e9rmico, lo que permite una dureza de trabajo de 68 a 70 HRC.<br>Es adecuado para el mecanizado de aleaciones de titanio y superaleaciones de n\u00edquel, donde las temperaturas de corte se mantienen elevadas. Su alto contenido en vanadio (~5%) forma un gran volumen de carburos MC duros, lo que mejora significativamente la resistencia a la abrasi\u00f3n en comparaci\u00f3n con los grados HSS convencionales como el M2.<br>Es adecuado para materiales de alta resistencia y alta tracci\u00f3n donde predomina el desgaste de los bordes. Sin embargo, su menor tenacidad limita su uso en el corte intermitente.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-fd805aa2\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AISI M4 (Acero r\u00e1pido con alto contenido de vanadio)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El M4 se utiliza en condiciones donde el desgaste abrasivo es importante, pero a\u00fan se requiere cierta tenacidad. Con vanadio ~4%, proporciona una buena resistencia al desgaste manteniendo una mayor tenacidad que el T15.<br>Su dureza t\u00edpica es de 62 a 64 HRC. Es adecuada para el mecanizado de hierro fundido, lat\u00f3n y aceros templados donde se requiere estabilidad del filo y resistencia al astillamiento.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-fd805aa2\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aceros de metalurgia de polvos (P\/M) (por ejemplo, ASP 60 \/ CPM Rex 76)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los aceros P\/M solucionan la segregaci\u00f3n de carburos en los aceros HSS convencionales mediante la producci\u00f3n de una microestructura uniforme.
